Minimum 3 days per week, with the remainder based in Wimbledon.
Fresh People are recruiting for a Display Planner to join a fast-paced fresh produce business, working in a highly collaborative role supporting both the commercial team and premium high street retailer within their Produce Specialist teams. This is a varied position combining display and range planning, data analysis and commercial support, with significant exposure to Premium Retailer. You will use data-driven insight to help maximise product availability, optimise space and deliver an excellent in-store experience across the fresh produce category. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with data but also wants a highly commercial and customer-facing position, working cross-functionally with Display Planning, Buying, Supply Chain, Commercial and retail teams.
The Role
- Working closely with Premium Retailer and internal commercial teams, you will own and manage the weekly range change process, ensuring changes are delivered accurately and within agreed critical paths.
- Create and maintain planograms and display plans across the fresh produce category.
- Work closely with Retailer Display Planners, Buyers and Supply Chain teams.
- Attend weekly meetings and category huddles with Retailer teams.
- Review and implement feedback from stores and retail operations relating to product displays.
- Apply display principles across different store formats and equipment configurations.
- Support the Commercial team with the day-to-day management of key customer accounts.
- Maintain, analyse and report customer data including sales, KPIs and promotional performance.
- Produce regular commercial insight and reporting to support decision making.
- Support customer portal management, product updates and code generation.
- Work with forecasting and commercial teams to identify opportunities to improve availability and performance.
About You
We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, highly analytical and confident working with data and multiple stakeholders. You will ideally have:
- Experience within retail, FMCG, fresh produce, food or another fast-paced commercial environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Confidence working with large data sets, sales information, forecasts and KPIs.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- The confidence to communicate with internal teams and a major retail customer.
- The ability to manage several priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in display planning, space planning, merchandising, supply chain, forecasting, commercial analysis or category support would be particularly relevant.
