Senior Quality Controller

Are you an experienced Quality Controller looking to take the next step in your career within the fresh produce sector? We are seeking a Senior QC to join a leading fruit packhouse operation in Maidstone Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming fruit pallets and verify traceability and packaging accuracy.

• Conduct quality assessments and set/review packing standards.

• Complete product checks and online documentation in line with customer and BRC standards.

• Perform regular line checks and ensure labels, packaging, and final product meet quality requirements.

• Collaborate with production teams to maintain high-quality standards and address non-conformances.

• Support technical compliance through accurate record-keeping, equipment checks, and shelf-life sample collection.

What Youll Need:

• Previous experience in a QC role within fresh produce or a similar fast-paced food production environment.

• Strong attention to detail with confident decision-making skills.

• Knowledge of BRC, retail customer standards, and traceability processes.

• Solid communication skills and the ability to influence and support operational teams.

• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.

This role involves working to an intake schedule, including weekend shifts. A flexible and proactive approach is essential.
