Fresh People are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a successful business within the Fresh Produce sector based in the Sittingbourne area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with experience in Sales Administration, Customer Service or Supply Chain Coordination within Fresh Produce.
Working within a busy commercial team, you'll be responsible for processing customer orders, coordinating stock allocation, supporting the planning function and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage daily stock allocation to meet customer demand.
Coordinate transport bookings to ensure on-time deliveries.
Liaise with customers regarding orders, stock availability and delivery schedules.
Work closely with Planning, Operations and Logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
Monitor stock movements and maintain accurate ERP system information.
Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
Support production planning and order fulfilment activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure company procedures are followed.
About You
To be successful, you will have: Previous experience within the Fresh Produce industry.
Experience in a Sales Administration, Customer Service, Order Processing or Supply Chain support role.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience processing customer orders and managing stock allocation.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (ERP/Prophet experience would be advantageous).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
The ability to prioritise workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
