We're looking for a proactive and quality-focused Berry Product Manager to join a fast-paced, dynamic team on a 12 month fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in fresh produce or food manufacturing who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys variety in their day, and wants to work with a team that makes a real impact from farm to shelf.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Overseeing the movement and quality of fresh produce particularly berries through packing and distribution facilities.
- Liaising daily with growers, packers, production teams, and commercial colleagues to uphold product standards.
- Organising and supporting product sampling, trials, and new packaging initiatives.
- Monitoring product shelf life and reporting any quality issues or trends to technical teams.
- Participating in key meetings and contributing to quality and availability decision-making.
- Acting as a key contact during customer visits and ensuring a high standard is maintained throughout the process.
- Deputising for team members when required and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a product or quality role within the fresh produce, food manufacturing, or agricultural sectors.
- A confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a drive to identify and implement improvements.
- Flexibility to work the Thursday to Monday shift pattern, including occasional weekend cover.
