Fresh People are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-growth, private equity-backed professional services business that is entering an exciting phase of expansion across the South East and London. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax Partner to join a progressive organisation where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the firm's tax offering, supporting strategic acquisitions and driving long-term value creation.

As Tax Partner, you will take ownership of the firm's wider corporate tax capability, helping to shape strategy, drive commercial growth and mentor an experienced team of tax professionals. This is far more than a traditional Partner position. You'll become part of a business with ambitious growth plans, backed by private equity investment, where strategic thinking, commercial leadership and business development are equally as important as technical excellence. The existing tax division already includes specialist expertise across Personal Tax and Transaction Tax, and this appointment will strengthen the firm's wider Corporate Tax capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the firm's Corporate Tax service offering.
  • Provide strategic advice across Corporation Tax, VAT, Capital Taxes, IHT and wider corporate tax planning.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
  • Drive business development activities and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Mentor, develop and strengthen an established team of tax professionals.
  • Support organisational growth through acquisitions and integration projects.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow Partners and the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic direction of the business.
About You

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded tax leader who enjoys building client relationships and developing high-performing teams. You'll ideally have:

  • CTA qualified (ACA or ACCA also highly desirable).
  • Significant experience operating at Director or Partner level within professional practice.
  • Strong technical expertise across Corporation Tax, VAT, Capital Taxes, IHT and Corporate Tax Advisory.
  • Proven business development and client relationship management experience.
  • Experience leading and developing successful tax teams.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence business direction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience within a growing or acquisitive business would be advantageous.
What's on Offer

Salary up to £200,000 depending on experience. Performance-related bonus. Car allowance. Private healthcare. Pension. Sweet Equity participation. Hybrid working. Genuine Board-level influence. Opportunity to shape and build a growing tax division. Join a business with a clear long-term growth strategy backed by private equity investment.

Why Apply?

If you're an experienced Corporate Tax Partner looking for more than a traditional practice role, this represents a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly expanding professional services business. You'll have the autonomy to influence strategy, develop specialist service lines, lead talented teams and play a key role in an ambitious five-year growth journey. Interested? Apply today or contact Fresh People in confidence to arrange a confidential discussion about this exciting leadership opportunity.
