This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Tax Partner or senior tax leader to shape and lead the firm's tax offering as part of a wider 5-year growth strategy.
The firm seeks a commercially driven and entrepreneurial tax professional with strong technical expertise, client relationship capability, and leadership experience. This role will be key in developing the tax function, driving revenue growth, supporting acquisitions, and building a high-performing team. The role can be based from Kent or Mayfair, London.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and growing the firm's tax offering across corporate, personal, and advisory services
- Driving business development activity and winning new client relationships
- Managing and developing a portfolio of high-value clients including SMEs, OMBs, and corporates
- Acting as a trusted adviser on complex tax matters, structuring, and planning
- Supporting acquisitions, due diligence, and integration of tax teams
- Working closely with other Partners to deliver joined-up client solutions
- Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing tax team
- Contributing to the wider strategic direction and continued growth of the firm
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
The Candidate:
We are looking for a senior tax professional with genuine advisory depth and commercial leadership capability. You will need:
- CTA qualified
- Experience operating at Senior Manager, Director, or Partner level within a professional services firm
- A recognised tax specialism such as EIS, VAT, Stamp Duty, corporate tax, private client tax, transactions, restructuring, IHT, CGT, or succession planning
- Strong technical tax expertise across corporate and/or private client tax
- Proven experience in business development and client relationship management
- Experience managing, mentoring, or growing tax teams
- A strategic, commercial, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience within a growth, acquisitive, or PE-backed environment would be advantageous
