We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading international business within the fresh produce and FMCG sector, based in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of financial management, forecasting, and commercial analysis for a growing retail division. You will work closely with commercial and procurement teams to maximise performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive financial business partnering to commercial and procurement teams.
- Deliver accurate and timely management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Produce financial insights, bridge statements, and commentary to support decision-making.
- Conduct margin analysis, consignment reconciliation, and identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Present commercial performance updates at weekly trading and review meetings.
- Support senior finance leadership with ad-hoc analysis and strategic financial projects.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with internal frameworks.
- Prepare and review royalty, rebate, and grower loan calculations.
- Manage foreign currency requirements and make forward purchase recommendations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness and transparency.
About You
- Qualified Accountant CIMA.
- Strong background in management accounting or financial analysis within FMCG, manufacturing, or traded commodities.
- Proven experience partnering with non-finance teams to drive commercial results.
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and presentation skills.
- High level of Excel proficiency and confidence handling large datasets.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all business levels.
- Organised, adaptable, and capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working under internal control or SOX-style frameworks.
What's on Offer
- Salary: Β£50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
