Job Role - Chartered Secretary
Fresh People are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Chartered Secretary to join their expanding Corporate Governance team based in Canterbury.
As Chartered Secretary, you will manage a varied client portfolio, ensuring statutory compliance while providing expert advice on corporate governance, company law and company secretarial matters.
Manage a portfolio of company secretarial and corporate governance clients.
Advise Boards, Directors and Shareholders on governance and statutory compliance.
About You
We're looking for an experienced governance professional who combines excellent technical knowledge with outstanding client relationship skills.
You will be commercially aware, highly organised and confident advising clients on governance matters.
Qualified Chartered Governance Professional (CGIUKI/ICSA) Associate (ACG) or Fellow (FCG), or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Significant Company Secretarial or Corporate Governance experience.
Experience within an accountancy practice, legal practice or professional services environment.
Familiarity with governance software such as Diligent Entities, Inform Direct or Blueprint One World.
