Account Manager in West Malling

Are you an experienced Account Manager with a solid background in fresh produce? A market-leading fresh produce business based in Kings Hill is expanding its commercial team and looking for a confident, customer-focused individual to manage key UK retail accounts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role within a fast-paced, ever-changing sector, working closely with some of the UKs biggest retailers. Youll bring your existing produce knowledge to a dynamic commercial environment, helping drive performance, availability, and service excellence.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Taking full responsibility for managing major retail accounts within the fresh produce sector
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail buyers and internal stakeholders
• Leading the commercial planning, forecasting, and delivery of key categories
• Supporting and delivering customer-specific strategies and promotional plans
• Working closely with supply chain and technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
• Analysing data and category performance to inform decisions and identify opportunities
• Supporting NPD and seasonal planning in line with customer needs and market trends

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience working in fresh produce account management
• Excellent commercial awareness with a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Confident communicator able to build rapport with both customers and internal teams
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid Excel and data-handling skills; familiarity with systems like Prophet or customer portals is an advantage
• A strong understanding of the retail landscape and the challenges of fresh produce supply
