As a Production Operative in our Bicester depot, you’ll play an important part ensuring our freshly prepared products are delivered on time to meet our customer demands. Your role is to ensure that products manufactured at Fresh Kitchen are handled and managed to the agreed production schedule and that they comply with specific customer requirements with key focus on product quality, legality and safety and overall presentation of product to the customer.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Receiving goods in
- Maintaining good stock rotation/management
- Working towards targets and deadlines
To join us as a Production Operative, you’ll be comfortable working in a temperature controlled (chilled) environment – don’t worry we’ll give uniform to keep you warm! You will be handling and preparing various food products including meat and fish and spend most of the day on your feet. Experience in a food production environment or knowledge of basic food safety would be an advantage, but your ability to learn and be part of the team is more important.
