Our client, a BALI-registered landscaping company based in East Sussex, has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Landscaper to join their team. If you’re passionate about building high-quality gardens and want to grow into a Team Leader/Foreperson role, this could be the next step in your landscaping career. Working throughout East and West Sussex, the company builds bespoke gardens based entirely on professional garden designs. As part of a small, friendly, and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in delivering stunning outdoor spaces to a high standard.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced landscaper to lead small teams on a variety of garden builds. You’ll need strong skills across both hard and soft landscaping, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role, where your leadership, technical skills, and communication will be key to successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team on landscaping projects from start to finish
- Interpret and work directly from scaled design plans
- Carry out a range of hard and soft landscaping tasks including:
- Paving
- Bricklaying
- Blockwork
- Rendering
- Decking
- Fencing
- Turfing
- Bed preparation and planting
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in both hard and soft landscaping
- Ability to lead small teams and manage daily site operations
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering a high-quality finish
- Good physical fitness – this is an active, outdoor role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret scaled garden design plans
- Experience operating plant and machinery
- Full, clean driving licence preferred
