Job Description

Our client is a growing design-and-build company delivering high-end residential and commercial gardens across Southwest London and Surrey. We are recognised for their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and collaborative team culture, creating outdoor spaces that are built to last.\\nAs their studio and projects continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Landscaping Team Leader to oversee on-site delivery and support their commitment to exceptional quality.\\nThe Role\\nThis is a hands-on, site-based leadership role. You will lead a small team on residential landscaping projects, overseeing daily site operations and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.\\nWorking closely with the Operations Manager and Directors, you will manage site setup, materials, team coordination, and quality control, while acting as a professional point of contact for clients.\\nKey Responsibilities\\n * Lead and supervise a landscaping team (typically 2–4 people)\\n * Deliver high-quality hard landscaping works, including:\\n * Paving (sub-base, laying, pointing)\\n * Brick and block work\\n * Timber work, decking, fencing, pergolas\\n * Paths, edging, turfing\\n * Water feature installation\\n * Read and work from detailed drawings and specifications\\n * Set out sites accurately, including levels\\n * Manage materials, tools, and daily site logistics\\n * Maintain high standards of health & safety and PPE compliance\\n * Operate small plant machinery\\n * Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and suppliers\\n * Solve on-site challenges with a practical, solutions-focused approach\\nAbout You\\nYou are an experienced landscaper with strong leadership skills, pride in your workmanship, and the confidence to run a site professionally.\\nEssential Skills & Experience\\n * 3+ years’ experience in landscaping teams on residential projects\\n * Strong background in hard landscaping and landscape construction\\n * Ability to read drawings and set out sites accurately\\n * Solid understanding of health & safety requirements\\n * Organised, proactive, and reliable\\n * Full UK driving licence\\nDesirable\\n * Digger & Dumper ticket\\n * ROLO Health, Safety & Environmental Awareness\\n * CSCS card\\n * Basic horticultural or planting knowledge\\nWhat we can offer\\n * Full-time, permanent position\\n * Competitive salary with pension contribution\\n * Friendly, supportive, and skilled team environment\\n * Ongoing training and development\\n * Quality tools, uniform, and a company van for work use\\n * Opportunity to work on well-designed, high-quality gardens
