Opportunity for an experienced leader in transport operations to join the team as Distribution Shift Manager at our Fresh Direct (a Sysco company) depot in Bicester, Oxfordshire, on a permanent basis. You\'ll play a key role in a dynamic and fast-paced distribution environment, taking charge of shifts to ensure our team consistently performs to the highest standards.
You’ll oversee driver performance, ensure compliance with legislative and company requirements, and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and service levels. As a strong people leader, you\'ll work closely with the Distribution Manager to develop and motivate a team of drivers and administrative colleagues. Your responsibilities include managing costs, maintaining a positive working environment, and prioritizing health, safety, compliance, and customer service.
We seek someone with a solid understanding of transport legislation and operational requirements. Ideally, you’ll hold a Management CPC qualification or be an experienced leader working towards becoming a transport professional.
