If you are a maintenance professional with high standards and you are looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect role for you! This is a unique opportunity to join the Fresh Direct team located in Bicester, Oxfordshire on a permanent basis. This is a very varied role which is predominantly working outdoors.
You will be required to take responsibility for ensuring all buildings and yard areas are maintained to BRC, food safety, and Health and Safety standards across both the depot and office areas. You will also be covering the gatehouse managing suppliers, visitors, and contractors visiting the site.
We need a great Facilities Operative to support our depots with basic maintenance tasks such as:
- Painting
- Accepting and distributing deliveries within the site premises
- Maintaining housekeeping standards of allocated areas around all facilities by cleaning and litter picking
You can expect to work throughout the seasons helping to maintain the grounds and landscaping, keeping on top of watering and tending to plants, trimming shrubs, bushes, and weeding.
We will provide opportunities to further enhance your skills through our Learning & Development programmes. Holding a Counterbalance license would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
