A company based in the UK is seeking a live-in couple to manage the household’s inner workings as a well-oiled team, and together provide the full spectrum of domestic support. Must reside in the Southampton area close to Botley, Hedge End, Wickham, Fareham, Bishops Waltham, Shedfield (10-mile radius).
Behavioral Competency:
- Extensive experience in high-end support roles
- Prominent level of flexibility and willingness to be on call 24/7
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Ability to use your initiative and work independently with little to no supervision at times
- Punctual and reliable
- Understanding of the importance of discretion in the role
- Must have a love for animals and children
Duties include the following, but are not limited to:
- Housekeeper: All housekeeping duties including but not limited to cleaning, washing, ironing
- Grocery shopping
- Cooking
- Front of house responsibilities, inclusive of welcoming visitors and guests, overseeing contractors and service
- Looking after pets
- Front of House including table service (can be formal or informal service)
- Houseman/Butler: Organize and manage contractors and suppliers
- Maintenance duties interior and exterior
- Gardening
- Cleaning of swimming pool and garden areas
- Security of the house
- Ad hoc jobs on the grounds and property
- Valet and vehicle management, cleaning, and upkeep, conducting minor maintenance and occasionally acting as a driver/chauffeur if required
Requirements:
- 5+ Years’ Experience in a similar role with a good record of accomplishment
- Administration skills will be an added advantage
- Computer skills & knowledge of MS Office will be an added advantage
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Nursing or veterinary experience added advantage
- Valid driver's license
Salary: 20,000 to 40,000 (GBP) per annum, plus bonus and incentives. Included in the package is living accommodation which consists of a detached 3-bedroom cottage on the estate. Also included are all bills – food, utilities etc.
40 Days paid holiday annually (including bank holidays and extended festive period shutdown).
