ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Senior // Exec Producer to join the team, reporting directly into the Founder & alongside an EP, a Production Manager and a roster of freelance Producers // Senior Producers. This is a senior leadership role for someone with strong agency production experience, deep sports knowledge & experience and a proven ability to oversee multiple complex projects from creative development through to delivery. The ideal candidate is commercially astute, creatively engaged, highly organised and calm under pressure — someone who thrives managing teams, clients, budgets and multiple productions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional standards across all stages of the process.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Significant experience in Senior// Exec Producer roles within ideally an agency, or production company environments
  • Agility across a range of scales and mediums - social first, stills, TVCs, live events
  • Strong background across both Client Services // Account Handling and Production
  • Experience leading teams including Producers, Line Producers and freelance crews
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and accounts concurrently
  • Deep understanding & experience of sports production and a genuine passion for sport
  • Strong knowledge of content production workflows from development through to delivery
  • Contacts & relationships across crew with sports experience, post production, etc
  • Proven experience managing post-production processes and relationships
  • Extensive bidding and budgeting experience, including APA rate knowledge and global shoot logistics
  • Strong creative sensibility with experience contributing to pitches and treatments
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Calm, proactive and solutions-oriented approach under pressure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production Leadership
    • Lead projects from ideation and creative development through to shoot, post-production and final delivery
    • Oversee multiple concurrent productions across branded content, campaigns, social and sports content
    • Manage Producers, Line Producers, freelancers and wider production teams
  • Client & Account Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies & brands
    • Provide confident day-to-day client leadership across multiple accounts and projects
  • Creative & Development
    • Collaborate on creative treatments, pitches and production solutions
    • Support new business activity and contribute strategically to creative proposals
  • Budgeting & Bidding
    • Lead bidding processes for UK and international productions
    • Demonstrate strong knowledge of APA guidelines, crew rates and service company structures
    • Negotiate with suppliers, talent, crew and partners to maximise value and production quality
  • Post-Production Oversight
    • Oversee post-production workflows including edit, grade, audio, VFX and delivery
    • Manage post schedules, approvals and final output processes
  • Team & Culture
    • Embody and champion Fresh Base values internally and externally
    • Mentor junior and mid-level production staff
    • Help ensure crews and clients feel supported, respected and looked after at all times
