Responsibilities
- Advice on complex IFRS accounting and valuation issues in an international environment.
- Monitoring and implementation of changes to IFRS regulations.
- Supporting the global subsidiaries regarding complex IFRS accounting issues.
- Preparation and maintenance of group wide IFRS accounting guidelines.
- Management of cross-divisional projects for the implementation of new IFRS accounting requirements.
- Preparation of selected notes.
What makes this role unique
- Variety of tasks: Your work is anything but standardized. You will be confronted with new transactions, issues and standards that require your expertise and creativity. Typical issues could include assessments of hybrid contracts like virtual PPAs, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 topics, as well as complex acquisition issues or questions to impairment tests.
- In-house consulting: You will act as an internal consultant and coach for various contacts, including senior management, and work in changing project teams on a wide range of issues. You will also be called upon to interpret standards in cases without sufficient commentary literature.
- Learn and grow: By working in mixed project teams, you will continuously learn - be it about Power Purchase Agreements, Software implementations, acquisitions, or goodwill impairment tests. Everyone in the team learns from the others and becomes well-versed in various IFRS standards.
- Cross-functional and global: You are a global contact and work cross-functionally to develop the best solutions for the Group. You will support international subsidiaries and ensure consistent reporting.

Qualifications
- Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting.
- Relevant experience in IFRS, ideally in an international corporate environment.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and their application in a global context.
- Structured and analytical way of working as well as high motivation and resilience.
- Excellent communication skills and team orientation.
- Fluency in English.
