Registered Nurse – Renal Dialysis Unit

Location: Aberystwyth, Wales, United Kingdom
This full‑time (37.5 hours per week) Registered Nurse position is based in Aberystwyth Dialysis Unit and offers a structured 8‑week Fundamental Dialysis Programme, ongoing training and development, a competitive salary up to £31,500, and a wide range of benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous, holistic care to dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.
- Assess care needs, develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Operate 12 haemodialysis stations with a patient‑nurse ratio of 1:3, supported by HA Care Assistants.
- Work various shifts (6:30 am–5:30 pm Monday/Wednesday/Friday and 7:30 am–1:30 pm Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday).
Qualifications
- NMC Registered Nurse (General, Learning Disability or Mental Health) or a registered nurse with renal dialysis experience.
- A positive attitude and aptitude for learning specialist dialysis skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
