Here at Fresenius Health Care, we have an exciting opportunity within our Technical Operations Team as a Regional Technical Manager who will report into Technical Operations Manager. You will provide strategic regional team management to our field technicians. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all regional control functions and support our internal and external customers to deliver a best-in-class service.

We are looking for somebody who has experience of leading a field-based team within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, with considerable experience of working with electromechanical systems and devices in a field-based commercial operation and who can work under pressure, be an excellent communicator at all levels and customer focused. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours, working Monday to Friday. This role is a field-based role which requires travel to Fresenius places of business and to customer sites and therefore, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential. You may also be required to stay away from home including overseas on occasions. Our head office is based in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire where you will be required to attend meetings as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all planned and unplanned maintenance is achieved in a timely and efficient manner and documented accordingly for all customers
  • Control the tools and stock to deliver a first-time resolution
  • Develop and maintain the customer relationships and support the business teams to develop the sales of service contracts
  • Provide technical support to customers and the sales teams during equipment evaluations and demonstrations
  • Work with departments such as Quality Control and Regulatory Affairs
  • Be a support to the business during the tender process
  • Gather data to deliver reports of KPI’s

Your Profile:

  • Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with NVQ Level 3 or similar; degree-level qualification desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in electromechanical systems within a field-based, customer-facing environment; renal or similar service experience advantageous.
  • Proven experience leading remote teams in fast-paced, highly regulated settings, ideally with some knowledge of NHS operations.
  • Committed to continuous professional development, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and supporting technical training delivery.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure.
  • Customer-focused with a keen eye for detail and a track record of driving continuous improvement.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office and confident interpreting electronic and hydraulic schematics.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work a 24/7 service model (37.5 hours across 5 of 7 days), including travel and occasional overnight stays.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
