Are you an NMC Registered Nurse seeking an exciting new opportunity to learn specialist skills in renal dialysis nursing? You may have NHS experience or have worked in the private care sector, but whatever your Nursing background, with the right attitude and aptitude we have an opportunity for you!
Role responsibilities
Being a dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.
Chandlers Ford Unit operates 12 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 36 patients. Nursing is planned at a ratio 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCA’s on each shift. This is a Full Time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between 07:00 - 11:00 Monday, Wednesday & Friday; 07:00 - 18:30 Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday.
