Are you a passionate and patient focused Registered Nurse, with experience or a keen interest in Enteral Nutrition? We are looking for a registered nurse who has the ability to work autonomously within the community and hospital setting supporting our patients and working in partnership with our NHS colleagues. Come and join our expanding enteral nursing service within Fresenius Kabi.
This role will be full-time based in Dorset, working 35 hours, Monday-Friday, 8am - 6pm. The role is field based across Dorset. The starting salary for this position is £37,864, plus an annual bonus of £1,166 and a company car/car allowance. Full training and a developmental programme are available with support from our accredited nurse educators.
Our nursing service offers expertise in both enteral and parenteral nutrition, allowing us to support every step of a patient’s nutritional care journey. The national team of more than 350 nurses is focused on identifying and understanding the needs of our patients to provide truly human care and support.
ResponsibilitiesIf this is the role for you, your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to aid the facilitation of a safe discharge and ongoing care of our enterally fed patients.
- Directly liaising with Dietitians and Nutritional teams to manage the care and nutritional support of our patients within the community.
- Responsible for the training of our enterally fed patients, families and carers.
- Managing a patient caseload, providing ongoing support in the community for patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
- Regular patient visits may include the care of Naso gastric tubes, gastrostomy tubes, pumps and advice.
- Working within the NMC Code of Conduct and professional practice.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a current and valid NMC registration.
- A minimum of 1-year post-registration clinical experience.
- Driving licence.
- Ability to work in a one-to-one patient environment and conduct interactions with confidence and professionalism.
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage own workload.
