We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Document Control Section Leader to join our Aseptic Services Unit. The main purpose of the role is to lead and manage a team of Document Control Officers to achieve high standards of productivity and to ensure that all documentation generation and checking meets cGMP requirements. The role is full-time Monday - Friday, working alternating weekly shifts of 6:30am - 2:30pm and 2pm - 10pm.

The company's products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients. Our product portfolio comprises a comprehensive range of I.V. generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products. At our Runcorn site, we have one of the largest Aseptic Compounding units in the UK, producing Parenteral Nutrition.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all documentation is generated, coordinated and distributed in a timely manner to meet production plan and service level commitments to customers internal and external. This includes (but not limited to) Batch Header generation, Remakes, BMR’s, all labelling, Plans & BOM’s.
  • Maintenance of KPIs to provide on-site reporting as required to ensure that KPIs are monitored, reported and action plans developed as appropriate.
  • Monitor accuracy, progress of daily targets and ensure all documentation is generated, ensuring any issues are rectified in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all Kabitrack events are investigated in real time, ensuring a corrective and preventative action is put in place to eliminate the error reoccurring.
  • Review of all training requirements for each team member and that training records are updated accordingly in order to develop the Document Control Team to ensure that performance is maximised, through continuous improvement.
  • Undertake absence reviews, disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings, and performance reviews as appropriate in line with company procedures, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Attend daily production meetings to understand status in production & communicate back to relevant departments required actions.
  • Resolve problems utilizing acquired knowledge.
  • Set high personal and professional standards in line with company policy.

Qualifications

  • Highly organised and able to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Ideally have previous management experience including disciplinary, grievance and absence management with leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office.
