Overview
Under the direction of the Head of Supply Chain to be responsible for the management of the essential link between supply chain, logistics, goods inwards, finance and external customs clearance agencies to ensure smooth flow of import and export information on behalf of Calea UK Limited and Fresenius Kabi UK Limited.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract working a 35 hour week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Tracking of import and exports to ensure smooth border transitions.
- Liaison with customs clearance agencies to ensure correct documentation is in place.
- Maintenance of system master data (Inco terms and commodity codes) pertaining to import and export.
- Maintenance of deferment account
- Preparation & maintenance of shipping documents where applicable
- Maintenance of accurate customs records
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous logistics experience desirable.
- Ability to work under time pressure to deliver accurate results.
- Strong excel skills.
- Experience of SAP desirable.
- Previous pharmaceutical experience desirable.
