Are you a natural people leader who would thrive directing and supporting a regional team of community-based Nurses delivering high quality care to patients? As a Regional Nurse Manager, you will support a commercially focused, efficient and safe nursing service delivering on operational accountabilities. Support and develop the strategic focus of the national Nursing Service and the local Directorate. You will manage and direct a team of motivated and appropriately skilled field-based Nurse Advisors to meet expected standards of compliance with all internal and external Regulatory bodies.
This position is full-time Monday - Friday and is field based across London and surrounding areas.
Effectively manage a team of Clinical Nurse Advisors including ensuring compliance with mandatory training and clinical competence, supporting personal development and health and well-being.
Manage staffing levels in the directorate through monitoring of nurse efficiencies including management of recruitment, absence and attrition.
Deliver on regulatory requirements and clinical governance through audit and management of incidents and complaints.
Involvement in nurse capacity, skillset monitoring and contingency processes.
Deputise for the Clinical Business Manager as required and as part of management team support roles during periods of absence.
Participate in or lead national committees or projects in line with the nursing strategic goals.
All candidates must hold a current NMC registration. A full driving license is required. A recognisable nurse training or mentorship qualification is desirable.
