The role Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager and working as part of a multi-disciplinary sales team, the main focus of this role will be the promotion and profitable sales of Fresenius Kabi Enteral Nutrition products to General Practitioners, Dietitians, Nursing Homes, Pharmacy and Community/Public Health Nurses. The role is field-based across Northern Ireland so the ideal candidate will live in Northern Ireland. The role is full-time, Monday - Friday and is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Undertake sales call activity to healthcare teams to maintain existing accounts and prospect for new business in order to maintain a positive sales growth.
- Work with the Community Team Lead and National Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business across the region.
- Assist in the preparation of contract prices, contract solutions and tender documentation, in conjunction with all relevant staff.
- Consistently communicate with all relevant personnel, on business objectives and provide detailed contact reports.
- Achieve targeted sales for all products and services as directed by the National Sales Manager.
- Work with the management team to develop successful Sales and Marketing strategies in your designated key accounts.
- Liaise with all relevant departments and personnel to achieve business objectives.
- Attend seminars, exhibitions or meetings and study days as directed by the Sales Managers.
- Identify decision makers and influencers in each key account to develop and build appropriate business relationships.
- Co-ordinate and implement the change of products and services when a change to Fresenius Kabi products is achieved.
Experience required
- Previous community medical sales experience preferable.
- Previous experience within Nutrition sales would be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrate good understanding of wider healthcare environment.
- Demonstrate good business acumen.
