12 month paid Internship - Human Resources in Cheshire.
The Company - Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specialises in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion, and clinical nutrition. Our products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients. Our product portfolio includes a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies, and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.
The Role - We are looking to appoint a HR Intern for 12 months, based at our UK & Ireland head office location in Runcorn, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide support to the wider HR function including Talent Acquisition, Employee Onboarding, Business Partnering, HR Operations, and also Learning & Development. You will have ownership of key responsibilities, in addition to gaining valuable exposure across the team and immersing yourself in Projects and company-wide HR initiatives. Ideally we are looking for someone to start between July-September.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Writing adverts and posting vacancies internally and to online Job Boards
- Reviewing applications and scheduling interviews
- Background screening checks including referencing and DBS via our Experian portal
- Setting up position and employee profiles in our HR system Workday
- Compiling offer letters and new contracts of employment
- Issuing contract amend letters for internal employee mobility and promotion
- Amending employee profiles on Workday and our Payroll system to reflect changes in role and remuneration
- Providing support to employee queries
- Involvement in weekly occupational health and employee relations meetings
- Taking notes in Investigations and Formal Hearings
- Participating in exit interviews
- Supporting the facilitation of training sessions and the monthly company induction day
- Updating the e-learning system with employee details
Qualifications - Currently completing a degree in HR or another relevant subject and looking to secure a placement year OR due to graduate this year and looking for your first career position.
