As a PN Business Development Manager (BDM), you would be reporting directly to the National Sales Manager (NSM) and working within the PN Business Stream as part of a multi-disciplinary sales team. This role is full-time and field-based across the North-East of England, so the ideal candidate would be based within this geography. This is a great role for a Dietitian, a Clinical Specialist or a candidate with healthcare/pharmaceutical sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement the tactical element of the marketing plan through delivery of key messages to the target audience as directed by the PN Sales and Marketing management teams.
- Exceed sales versus target for promotional priorities.
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies for both Fresenius Kabi and competitor key accounts.
- Work with the NSM to develop solutions/presentations for tender submissions for target accounts.
- Work with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business in all Fresenius Kabi accounts.
- Consistently communicate with all relevant personnel on business objectives and provide detailed call notes on the CRM.
- Work to set call rate guidelines as identified by the NSM and associated activity reporting via the Fresenius Kabi CRM System.
- Take the lead role in developing and implementing account business plans.
- Work with the management team to develop successful sales strategies in your designated key accounts.
- Liaise with all relevant departments and personnel to achieve business objectives, in particular, your NSM, MSLs, Marketing and Customer Services.
Qualifications
- Life science degree or equivalent.
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales or the NHS.
- Demonstrate good business acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
