About The Role: As the Director, Solution Architecture, you will lead the function that bridges customer needs with Fresco’s technical capabilities. You’ll shape how we position the product in complex sales cycles, define implementation strategy, and ensure new clients achieve rapid, successful adoption. You’ll own the pre‑sales technical strategy, oversee high‑impact demos and solution design, and drive a seamless transition from prospect to live customer. This is a highly strategic, cross‑functional role partnering closely with Sales, Product, Delivery and Engineering—ideal for a leader who excels at both deep technical problem‑solving and building repeatable processes at scale. Beyond hands‑on expertise, you’ll help define the long‑term vision for Solutions Architecture, introduce best practices, and ensure our partner experience is consistently world‑class.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Build and lead the function, establishing frameworks, processes, and standards for technical discovery, scoping, and onboarding. Provide thought leadership on how customers can best leverage Fresco’s platform and integrations.
- Pre‑Sales Excellence: Lead technical discovery with enterprise and mid‑market prospects, uncovering requirements. Ensure the sales team is equipped with the right technical narratives, tools, and materials to win deals, upsell and cross‑sell. Oversee high‑quality product demonstrations, proofs‑of‑concept, and integration walkthroughs.
- Implementation & Onboarding: Define and oversee scalable implementation methodologies that ensure fast, predictable customer onboarding. Lead complex technical onboarding sessions, data configuration, and integration setup alongside Delivery and Product. Serve as an escalation point for complex or high‑value implementations.
- Cross‑Functional Influence: Act as a senior “voice of the customer,” shaping product roadmap discussions and influencing platform improvements. Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Delivery to refine integration capabilities, data workflows, and customer‑facing processes.
- Technical Content & Enablement: Oversee the creation of technical documentation, best practice guides, and reusable assets for both internal and external audiences.
About You: 7–10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Implementation within a SaaS or technology environment, including experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level. Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations, and data flows; able to dive deep when needed. Exceptional communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑focused value. Demonstrated ability to build and scale customer‑facing technical processes. Comfortable leading in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Highly collaborative with strong leadership presence and a bias toward action. Proven ability to influence Product, Engineering, and Commercial leadership. Understanding of hardware and a cooking interest is a distinct advantage. Fluency in English required; additional European languages a plus.
