The Role
As part of our growth, we’re recruiting an RFID Software Consultant / Project Manager / Pre-Sales Specialist to lead client projects involving the digitization of warehouses and stores, with a strong focus on RFID and mobility technologies. You’ll report to the Director of Operations and act as a key contact for our clients, with a three-fold role: Consulting & Delivery, Project Management, and Pre-Sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Consulting & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of RFID software implementation projects for retail clients
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into scalable SaaS RFID solutions
- Configure, deploy, and optimize RFID systems in real-world retail environments
- Ensure successful integration with existing IT systems (POS, ERP, WMS, etc.)
- Provide post-deployment support and continuous improvement recommendations
- Facilitate functional scoping workshops and write specifications/requirements documents
- Project Management
- Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and resources
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, technical, operations, client stakeholders)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Maintain clear communication and reporting throughout project lifecycles (Agile or Waterfall)
- Pre-Sales & Business Development
- Support sales teams with technical expertise during client engagements
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts
- Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and solution architectures
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients during the evaluation and decision process
- Participate in commercial proposals and pitches
Profile Sought
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in RFID, IoT, or related software consulting / project management
- Proven experience delivering SaaS RFID solutions in the retail or supply chain sector
- Strong knowledge of retail and/or supply chain processes (WMS, ERP, logistics, retail)
- Solid project management experience (Agile or Waterfall)
- Native level English proficiency (mandatory)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with data manipulation (macros, queries)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, rigor, and consulting mindset
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Based anywhere in the UK or Europe (France, Germany, or similar), within easy access to an international airport
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional foreign language skills (French, Spanish, German, or others) are a plus
- Experience with retail operations (inventory management, omnichannel, loss prevention)
- Familiarity with RFID hardware, software, and integration frameworks
- Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus
- Master’s degree (engineering, business school, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) for productivity and project delivery
