French Pour Moi, a French language school for English-speaking individuals, is seeking a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) Teacher to teach one-to-one sessions online.
This opportunity could be perfect for you if you are:
- Bilingual in English and French
- Student or graduate of language, literature or humanities studies
- Passionate about teaching
Missions:
- Prepare and deliver French lessons to English-speaking learners in a one-to-one format online via videoconference.
- Assess learners' French level through tests.
- Adapt lessons to different levels, typically A0 to B1 DELF.
- Briefly summarize lesson content after each session in a spreadsheet.
- Evaluate learners periodically.
Requirements:
- A responsible and pedagogical individual passionate about education.
- Speak French to a native-level and with excellent oral and written French skills and general culture knowledge.
- Good English level required, as most learners are British and beginners in French.
- To be available to teach late afternoons/evening and some weekends.
- Flexible schedule with mastery of your time management.
- Knowledge of office software (Word/Docs, Powerpoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, PDF).
Work Hours and Duration:
- Several regular slots per week, 1-2 hours.
- Organize your lesson schedule with learners while respecting their constraints.
- Starting with approximately 3-6 hours per week, with potential to increase hours up to 15.
- Flexible duration, but we’re seeking someone available for at least 12 months.
Contract:
Flexible contract for independent contractors (freelancing) - can be combined with other clients and student status.
Remuneration:
- 17€/hour taught online.
- 10% annual bonus of total invoiced hours paid on contract anniversary.
