We are an award-winning recruitment agency specialising in nannies and private household staff for families throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. As the agency continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant who can independently manage multiple assignments, develop strong candidate networks and improve our sourcing and selection processes.

The Role

This is a predominantly candidate-focused recruitment position. You will manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial sourcing and assessment through to successful placement. You will work directly with the Director and collaborate closely with the team responsible for managing client families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract qualified nannies and private household professionals in the UK and internationally.
  • Build, maintain and reactivate a strong candidate network.
  • Review applications and conduct detailed candidate interviews.
  • Assess candidates’ experience, skills, reliability and suitability for individual families.
  • Verify employment history, references, qualifications, certifications and Right to Work documentation.
  • Write accurate and professional candidate profiles.
  • Prepare relevant, high-quality shortlists.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and families.
  • Prepare and support candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates through to placement.
  • Keep the candidate database accurate, organised and up to date.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to sourcing methods, recruitment tools and selection processes.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of three years’ proven recruitment experience.
  • Strong experience in candidate sourcing, assessment and management.
  • Good knowledge of the UK recruitment market.
  • French at C1 level or above.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong professional writing skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • The ability to attend our Old Street office every other Friday.
  • Existing Right to Work in the United Kingdom.

French Nanny Agency cannot provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Experience in one or more of the following sectors would be particularly relevant:

  • Nanny, childcare or private household staff recruitment.
  • Specialist, luxury or confidential recruitment.
  • Executive search.
  • Luxury hospitality.
  • Concierge or private client services.

Applications from related sectors will also be considered where candidates can demonstrate relevant specialist or high-end recruitment experience.

  • Recent experience recruiting nannies or private household staff.
  • An established network of nannies or household professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment CRMs, sourcing platforms and automation tools.
  • Experience improving recruitment processes.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification.

Performance and Commission

The position includes monthly and annual performance objectives. Performance will be assessed according to:

  • The quality, suitability and reliability of candidates presented.
  • The relevance of submitted shortlists.
  • Application processing times.
  • Candidate communication and management.
  • Candidate database development.
  • Successful placements.

Commission is uncapped. The applicable thresholds, placement attribution rules and payment conditions will be explained during the recruitment process and confirmed in writing before the final interview stage.
