We are looking for a Chef Instructor to join our En Cuisine team based in London (Balham). We are seeking a patient and enthusiastic professional, passionate about healthy food and eager to share that knowledge with our little chefs through hands-on cookery classes.

What you do as a Chef Instructor:

  • Manage a group of 12 children for a 1-hour cooking class, twice a week from Monday to Friday, from 2:50 pm to 4:30 pm
  • Handle mise en place, tuition and cleaning
  • Guide the children by explaining instructions and the step-by-step recipe clearly
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of techniques and different cuisines
  • Be creative to keep children focused and engaged during hands-on activities
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety

What we require from you:

  • Good kitchen experience, ideally within restaurants
  • Fluent English
  • Passion for food and teaching
  • Strong organisational skills and patience
  • DBS check (compulsory)
  • First Aid (paid by En Cuisine Cooking School if needed)
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certification
  • Two written references
  • Commitment
