FRENCH SELECTION (FS) Senior Travel Business Development Manager Location: London - hybrid working options available Salary: Between £30,000 and £42,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits and bonus Please do state your expectations if higher as we will consider for the right experience Ref: 5544M To apply using our preferred format, please visit French Selection website, got to the vacancies page, search job reference: 5544M The Company: A well-established international Tour Operator and Destination Management Company Main duties: You will be managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities and developing successful working relationships with clients considering the UK and Ireland as a destination The Role: - Develop new business opportunities and build a portfolio of group travel clients across the allocated markets. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders. - Prepare competitive quotations and tailor-made itineraries for groups travelling to Scotland and Ireland. - Follow up on quotations, convert leads into confirmed bookings and negotiate competitive rates to maximise profitability. - Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure hotels, services, budgets and itineraries are accurately arranged for confirmed groups. - Monitor market trends and competitors, handle client issues professionally, and attend client meetings and familiarisation trips as required The Candidate: - Fluency in English to mother tongue standard is a must - an additional language would be a real bonus - Experience in Sales within a Destination Management or Travel Management Company – Essential - Outstanding knowledge of the UK and Ireland as a destination - Great communication skills - Good attention to detail and able to work under pressure - Ability to multi-task and adapt to situation - Proactive, confident and dynamic personality Salary: Between £30,000 and £42,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits and bonus Please do state your expectations if higher as we will consider for the right experience French Selection, leading UK-based consultancy specialising in the recruitment of bilingual and multilingual professionals for international business (industries and services).
