Main duties:
- Lead business development and commercial growth in Germany by identifying new opportunities, expanding key accounts, and strengthening strategic partnerships.
- Drive commercial and market expansion strategies across retail, banking, and partner channels.
- Build and manage senior-level relationships within major enterprise accounts and influencers.
- Develop new business across targeted segments such as regional retail chains, petrol stations, and CIT/channel partners.
- Lead and coach a small sales team, ensuring strong performance and accountability.
- Manage complex sales cycles involving hardware, software, and managed services.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and customer success.
- Track KPIs, pipeline, market trends, and competitor activity, providing structured reporting.
- Strengthen market credibility and support the adoption of front- and back-office automation solutions.
The candidate:
- Proven experience in business development or sales leadership in retail technology, automation, payments, banking tech, or similar B2B solution environments.
- Strong knowledge of the German retail and/or banking landscape with experience managing enterprise or channel relationships.
- Track record of winning complex deals, influencing C-level stakeholders, and delivering measurable sales results.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly organised; able to work autonomously and drive initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with credibility at senior and operational levels.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages welcome.
- Willing to travel frequently across Germany; ideally based in Munich, Düsseldorf, or Frankfurt.
The salary: Base salary €110,000–€130,000 per annum plus performance bonus (approx. 30%) plus company car, mobile, and flexible remote work.
