A leading international food manufacturer serving retailers, distributors and foodservice partners in international markets.

Main duties:

  • Drive sales growth by managing distributor relationships, developing new business opportunities and expanding product distribution across Germany.

The role:

  • Work with and manage distributors to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand product availability within mainstream retail and foodservice channels.
  • Build and strengthen relationships to support long-term business growth.
  • Develop and execute promotional and sales initiatives, reviewing performance to maximise commercial results.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to optimise stock levels and maintain consistent product availability.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and market developments, providing insights to support business planning.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, forecasts and performance analysis for management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate commercial activities and deliver successful projects.
  • Represent the business professionally, ensuring brand standards and reputation are maintained at all times.
  • Travel regularly within Germany to visit customers, support distributors and develop new business opportunities.

The candidate:

  • Fluent in German (written and spoken) essential.
  • Business level English required.
  • Experience working in Sales / Field sales / territory sales ideally within the FMCG industry; previous experience working with distributors ideal.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities independently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence and able to visit customers min 3 days a week.

The salary: up to €55,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus car allowance and benefits.
