The Company: A long-standing manufacturer and supplier with a keen focus on sustainability and innovation.

Main Duties:

  • To be the main point of contact for customers and manage the order process from initial enquiry to delivery.

The Role:

  • To respond to any queries from customers in a timely and professional manner over telephone and email.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
  • To manage the order process until final completion; including order entry, quotations, purchase order follow ups, confirmation of shipment dates and shipment tracking.
  • To maintain clear communication with customers on the progress of their enquiry if it cannot be resolved at the point of first contact.
  • To identify and action any special client shipping requirements.
  • To escalate enquiries as needed to the Team leader.
  • To provide proactive assistance to the team and other departments within the company as needed.

The Candidate:

  • Fluent German (written and spoken) - Essential.
  • Experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, confident and dynamic personality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
  • Computer literate (with experience in SAP an advantage).

The salary: up to £29,000 per annum.
