Main Duties: To manage key customer and distributor relationships across established European export markets, while identifying new business opportunities and driving sustainable growth. The Role: - Manage and grow relationships with key customers and business partners in the DACH and French regions, with potential to expand into additional European territories - Take ownership of designated projects throughout the sales process, working closely with project managers to meet customer requirements. - Travel to visit clients on-site for meetings, exhibitions, product demonstrations and industry events (up to 60% of the time for the first year) - Support with quotations and tender documents where required - Record customer visits and outcomes in the CRM system, and prepare sales forecasts and reports - Analyse competitor activity and market intelligence to identify new opportunities, build sales pipeline and increase market share The Candidate: - Fluent in French and German (written and spoken) with strong English - Essential - Proven experience in B2B technical sales (electric or electronic backgrounds preferred) - Strong track record of maintaining existing accounts and developing new business - Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills. - Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working independently. - Well organised, with good CRM, reporting and pipeline management skills. - Flexible and willing to travel extensively across Europe with a full driving licence. - Based in either Eastern France or Western Germany for an easy commute across the designated territory The salary: Up to €70,000 per annum depending on experience plus bonus plus car allowance French Selection, leading UK-based consultancy specialising in the recruitment of bilingual and multilingual professionals for international business (industries and services).
