Salary: £28,000 per annum
The company: A well-established tour operator who pride themselves in being specialists in creating tailor-made tours in Great Britain and Ireland.
Main duties: An exciting opportunity to be the main point of contact for clients and suppliers ensuring the clients have the best experience.
- Creating and preparing itineraries, quotations and costings for groups
- General bookings in tour plan ensuring all services are booked
- Admin of group bookings including but not limited to amendments / cancellations / room lists etc.
- Ensuring tours run smoothly from start to finish while making certain client requests are understood and processed
- Negotiating rates and terms with suppliers
- Issuing of documentation
- Processing invoices
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and clients as necessary
- Creating strong relationships with clients and suppliers
The candidate:
- Fluent in either Spanish or Italian or French
- Previous experience in travel, tour operations or a DMC
- Experience working in the Guaranteed Departures department a plus
- Knowledge of destinations within the UK and Ireland beneficial
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Proactive, dynamic and ability to multitask
- IT literate (MS Office)
- Able to work as part of a team as well as to take initiatives
