Responsibilities
- To cover existing key accounts and new business in the UK region in addition to Ireland; the job could expand outside the UK.
- Identify and generate leads that are potential users of packaging products.
- Communicate and follow up with the factories for prices, testing, and agreeing margins.
- Drive sales lead converting process into prospects and potential customers.
- Liaise and coordinate with the sales team to guarantee continuous sales support.
- Coordinate with product managers of the factories for customer visits when required.
- Collect and process purchase orders, follow up with customer services for updates.
- Visit customers frequently in person and maintain follow-up on potential customers.
- Analyse data related to the targeted products and recommend pricing strategy.
- Set sales forecast and annual budgets in coordination with the senior sales managers.
- Follow up on unmet sales forecast in coordination with the senior sales managers.
- Draft a marketing expansion plan and achieve the plan by number of forecasted prospects.
- Conduct competition studies, update, and analyse the competitors' profiles and offerings.
- Equip and assist the sales force with product knowledge and communication.
- Seek new ideas and remain updated on the latest trends, technologies, and processes.
Candidate's Profile
- Fluent in English to business level (written and spoken).
- Additional European languages such as French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian - Advantageous.
- Experience in the sales of flexible packaging products for the Food and catering, industrial, agricultural, and Hygiene sectors.
- Self-driven, have self-initiative, and responsible for growing the sales of packaging products in the region responsible for.
- Team player, dynamic, flexible, and adaptable to changes are key elements for success.
- Happy to travel in the UK and IRE on a weekly basis (50% time).
