Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical consultant for clients within power generation, refining, oil & gas, and chemical industries.
  • Manage and develop existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities in Italy.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding technical, operational, and project-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop sales strategies, technical proposals, and client presentations.
  • Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to design compliant, industry-standard solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including scope of work, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Support pricing strategies and participate in contract negotiations to meet client and business objectives.
  • Oversee project execution from proposal stage through installation and post-project support.
  • Coordinate on-site technician deployment, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and field technicians, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and optimization to maximize system performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise between customers and internal technical teams to address challenges and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to ensure solutions meet client expectations and performance targets.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Sales Directors in identifying new market opportunities and expansion strategies.
  • Contribute to go-to-market initiatives to strengthen competitive positioning and drive business growth.

Candidate's Profile

  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); French language skills are an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or project management, ideally within power generation or heavy industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of power generation systems, combined cycle gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators, refining, or chemical processes.
  • Experience managing full project lifecycles, including technician coordination, on-site support, and schedule adherence.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to lead on-site technical teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned European territory, with occasional overseas travels.
