Responsibilities
- Act as a technical consultant for clients within power generation, refining, oil & gas, and chemical industries.
- Manage and develop existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities in Italy.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding technical, operational, and project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop sales strategies, technical proposals, and client presentations.
- Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to design compliant, industry-standard solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, including scope of work, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Support pricing strategies and participate in contract negotiations to meet client and business objectives.
- Oversee project execution from proposal stage through installation and post-project support.
- Coordinate on-site technician deployment, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and field technicians, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Provide ongoing technical support and optimization to maximize system performance and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise between customers and internal technical teams to address challenges and recommend improvements.
- Conduct follow-up visits to ensure solutions meet client expectations and performance targets.
- Monitor industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements.
- Support Sales Directors in identifying new market opportunities and expansion strategies.
- Contribute to go-to-market initiatives to strengthen competitive positioning and drive business growth.
Candidate's Profile
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); French language skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or project management, ideally within power generation or heavy industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of power generation systems, combined cycle gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators, refining, or chemical processes.
- Experience managing full project lifecycles, including technician coordination, on-site support, and schedule adherence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to lead on-site technical teams.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned European territory, with occasional overseas travels.
