Salary: from £50,000 per annum depending on experience. Please provide your salary expectations if any higher and we will consider according to relevant experience.
Main duties:
- To manage the team of Travel Operations Executives within the Groups department, and provide training and guidance.
- To provide direct day-to-day management of the travel operations team within the Groups department.
- To provide training, support and guidance to the team where needed.
- To set and monitor KPI's for the operations team and adjust accordingly.
- To manage and deal with escalated enquiries from clients in a timely manner.
- To monitor and give feedback on areas of improvement/areas of success within the team.
- To be aware of cultural differences within a team and react sensitively.
- To be aware of important changes in the travel market and communicate course of action to the team.
- To report to the Directors of the company.
Candidate's Profile:
- Experience in a sales role within a Destination Management Company – Essential
- Experience in People Management/Team Leadership – Essential
- Excellent communication skills with knowledge of cultural differences
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Ability to lead a team effectively and make decisions appropriately
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- IT literate
