Main Duties
- Generate sales through distribution partners across Europe from a UK base by developing strong relationships, providing product training, and driving revenue growth of motion control technologies.
- Generate sales of motion control products to meet revenue and profit targets with distribution accounts across Europe.
- Develop relationships at all levels within distributor organisations through site visits and virtual engagement.
- Lead product and application training sessions to educate distributor sales teams throughout Europe.
- Act as primary point of contact, recommending solutions, preparing quotes and supporting contract negotiations.
- Create and execute key account plans to achieve sales, margin and customer satisfaction targets.
- Stay informed on new products and design unique growth programs for distribution partners.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify market gaps and onboard new channel partners.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting and meet established KPI’s and sales goals.
- Expect regular European travel (up to 30%) to meet distributors and support their sales activities.
Candidate's Profile
- Degree in Engineering or Business preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid B2B sales experience in industrial markets; distribution sales experience advantageous.
- Experience in technical sales with mechanical components desirable.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver training to groups.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- High energy, creative problem-solver with strong relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in English with good commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
- Additional European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian) highly advantageous.
Salary: £58,000 per annum plus 25% performance bonus plus car allowance plus benefits.
