Our Client is looking for a Mechanical Architect/Methods Engineer Consultant for a 6 month contract. They are a UK-based Electric Propulsion company with many years of experience in the design, development and production of cutting-edge electric propulsion systems for a diverse range of applications. Projects range from early R&D to high levels of maturity flight systems and cover a range of technologies.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Mechanical Architect or Methods Engineer Consultant who has experience in fluidic systems layout and build sequence to support the design and procedure development for the assembly and test of a CubeSat electric propulsion primary and auxiliary system.
- The system is nominally designed for Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welded joints in stainless steel, and the Consultant will perform the detailed layout to enable successful welding, design in repair options and enable test of the different pressure branches.
