French Franks is a busy business, serving simple fresh food and barista standard drinks made to order at our sites across the Island. This upcoming role is to be based at our Newport business park site, near the Hospital Helipad. The St Cross site is out of town and is mainly focused on the surrounding business and worker communities, open Monday to Saturday 8am to 3pm.

Eating ‘on the go’ is part of the way we live; our mission is to meet the demand, making sure the food we serve is enticing, tasty, and quick. We champion local and fresh produce and are engaged with our customers and the communities in which we operate.

Work is demanding, there is lots to learn, and it is a varied, physical, and fast-paced but rewarding day on your feet. You will need to thrive in the buzz of a busy day in a fresh food business and the interaction of the customer environment. If this is your scene, catering rarely gets better than this.

Permanent position

  • We will consider applications for 3, 4, or 5 day working (all will normally include Friday and Saturday).
  • Sociable day time hours: earliest start 07:30 - latest finish 3pm, no split shifts.
  • One weekend day only required.
  • Contracted regular hours.
  • Small friendly team in a family business.
  • Stable and plannable rotas.
  • Paid break, heavily subsidised food, pension.
