Overview
Freja is a rapidly growing modern luxury accessories brand redefining conscious design and contemporary elegance. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of sales, brand positioning, and relationship-building — turning partnership opportunities into long-term brand equity and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute a global wholesale strategy aligned with brand vision, pricing architecture, and margin goals.
- Identify, pitch, and onboard key retail partners (department stores, specialty boutiques, and online retailers) across international markets.
- Build seasonal sales forecasts, set revenue targets, and manage wholesale P&L.
- Lead negotiations on commercial terms, exclusivity agreements, and distribution frameworks.
Account Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for all wholesale partners, ensuring seamless communication and service.
- Partner with retailers on seasonal buy planning, sell-through analysis, and visual merchandising.
- Oversee order management, ensuring accuracy from PO to delivery, and coordinate with operations for timely fulfillment.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for account growth.
Seasonal & Market Activities
- Lead seasonal wholesale market appointments and showrooms (Paris, London, New York, etc.).
- Create compelling sales materials — lookbooks, line sheets, brand decks — in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Work closely with PR and marketing to align retail partner launches and campaigns with global storytelling.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Operations to forecast inventory, manage allocations, and minimize overstock.
- Partner with Finance on payment terms, invoicing, and margin tracking.
- Work closely with Design & Product Development to provide market feedback and inform assortment decisions.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in wholesale, sales, or business development within fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands.
- Proven track record of growing wholesale accounts internationally, ideally with both luxury and contemporary retailers.
