In collaboration with the Head of Jascots, you\’ll develop and implement an effective strategy for the Business Development Team to expand Jascots\’ market share in the premium on-trade sector in London and the South East.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Head of Jascots, develop and implement an effective strategy for the Business Development team.
  • Responsible for managing a team of three Business Development Managers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with on-trade buyers and influencers.
  • Maintain a working pipeline of new business prospects.
  • Construct and present commercial proposals to prospective clients.
  • Agree and execute customer commercial contracts.
  • Maintain commercial terms for customers including pricing.
  • Deliver budgeted sales volume and margin on target brands.

Experience

  • Proven track record of opening new business in the premium London on trade.
  • Experience of managing a sales team, with proven record of success.
  • An extensive list of relevant trade contacts and relationships.
  • Excellent wine knowledge.
  • A passionate and credible communicator.
  • Prepared to travel for business within the UK and occasionally abroad.
  • Track record of achievement against targets.
  • Collaborative approach to work.
  • Commercially astute.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Hybrid working – a combination of home and office based at our offices in Central London.
  • You will be required to visit customers at their sites around London.
