We’re hiring a Customer Marketing Executive to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering best-in-class customer marketing strategies across our portfolio, helping to drive growth and bring our brands to life in-store and online. Freixenet Copestick Ltd are a major player in the UK drinks market and we’re proud to be the UK’s leading supplier of sparkling wines. In this role, you’ll work across a portfolio of well-known brands including Freixenet, I Heart Wines, Mionetto, Segura Viudas, Gratien & Meyer, Phantom River and Bolney.

You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, Category, NPD and Supply, as well as external partners and customers, to develop and execute impactful customer marketing plans that deliver against both brand and commercial objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer marketer who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoys managing multiple projects while working cross-functionally.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and execute customer marketing and activation plans across on and off trade channels
  • Work closely with brand teams to ensure alignment between brand strategy and customer execution
  • Partner with Sales teams to support Joint Business Plans (JBPs), trade planning and customer proposals
  • Deliver best-in-class (BIC) activations and in-store campaigns
  • Build strong relationships with key internal teams including Sales, Brand, Category, Design and Finance
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including agencies, brand partners, buyers and category planners
  • Attend and present at key customer meetings, showcasing brand plans and activation strategies
  • Track and analyse retailer promotional plans, evaluating performance and identifying opportunities
  • Monitor shopper behaviour and retail trends to inform strategy and recommendations
  • Lead the development of POS toolkits and off-trade shipper initiatives
  • Manage and track shopper marketing budgets effectively
  • Lead supplier days with retailers from a customer marketing and project management perspective
  • Evaluate campaign performance and share insights and recommendations with stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • Around 2+ years’ experience in FMCG within brand, customer/shopper marketing or sales
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with retailers and understanding shopper marketing levers
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience working with third-party agencies
  • Knowledge of IRI/Nielsen and Kantar (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building ability
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in the wine/alcohol category (desirable)
  • Driving licence preferred
