With a focus on the Casual Dining and Hotel sector, you\’ll drive sales of Frexienet Copestick Brands and agency wines into new and existing on trade retail group customers.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales and profit targets; forecasting performance and setting financial targets for area of responsibility.
  • Manage specific National On Trade Retail accounts in their entirety (as agreed with SNAM), taking ownership and responsibility for delivering volume and margin contribution for these accounts, including new business.
  • Develop strategic sales account plans for key customers, and agree annual plans with SNAM.
  • Agree Marketing Strategies that will assist in the retention and growth of FXC Brands and work with relevant customers to deliver fully costed brand support plans to maximise volume and profitability.
  • Build effective Head Office working relationships with Buyers to gain new listings, and with National & Regional Sales Teams as appropriate to drive focus of FXC’s brands to maximise distribution.
  • Attendance at customer sales meetings as required to develop relationships, increase focus on FXC drive brands and to exploit new distribution opportunities.
  • Support for National Retail customers at trade events, as well as regular meetings with customers.
  • Forecasting for all new and existing listings to ensure smooth running of production, supply and financial planning.
  • Build effective internal and external networks of contacts to deliver a category selling approach. In particular work closely with the internal support functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, Finance).

Experience

  • Wine industry experience, or experience of working with National On Trade groups, or both.
  • Experience of working with, and developing, brands from a sales perspective.
  • Experience in developing existing customers and also delivering new business wins.
  • Experience in accurate forecasting.

Skills

  • Highly effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of seniority.
  • Influencing and Relationship building.
  • Energetic and passionate.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience of key Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good organisational, Time Management and Planning skills.
  • UK Driving Licence.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Home based, with occasional travel to our Newbury office and to customers or other locations regularly, including some overnight stays.
