We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support the Head of HR in delivering a high-performing, values-led people function across a dynamic and growing business of approximately 180 staff, based across four sites in Newbury, Bolney, Brackley, and London.
This is a varied and tacticalhands-on role, providing both strategic and operational HR support across a range of areas including employee relations, recruitment, talent management and organisational development. Working closely with the Head of HR and wider leadership team, you’ll help shape and deliver key people initiatives aligned with business objectives and foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, managing complex issues such as grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management cases.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires.
- Drive talent management strategies, including career development and succession planning.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, ensuring employees and managers have the tools to succeed.
- Lead and support HR projects, such as HRIS implementation, engagement surveys, or organisational change.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, updating HR policies and procedures as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in an HR generalist role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience in managing HR projects or change initiatives.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
- Proficiency in HR systems, ideally including experience with BambooHR or similar platforms.
