Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Import Seafreight Operator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Egham, Surrey area.
Duties:
- Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate Import seafreight with end to end responsibility
- Seafreight booking and processing relevant documentation including BOL’s
- Customs entries
- Dealing with FCL / LCL shipments
- Liaising effectively and building close relationships with customers
- Quotations
- Invoicing clients
- Key Account management
- Strong ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously and communicating efficiently to the highest level via e-mail and telephone
Required Experience:
- Experience in Import Oceanfreight
- Customer service - excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Computer literate
- Highly organised with a systematic approach and detail orientated
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm.
